How I work with people

I believe people have the ability to self-heal, though we may need a mirror to help. Whether you’re here to make a change or to process emotions, I meet you where you are with the foundations of non-judgment and collaboration.

Some need a space to be purely witnessed, in which case I'd reflect back what I’m seeing and hearing, asking questions to further understand. Or I can have a more active role if you’re open to it. I can invite you to connect deeper to your emotions and body. I can challenge rigid beliefs, point out discrepancies in what you are saying, and share my feedback of your patterns showing up in our dynamic.

I use depth-oriented and experiential modalities listed below. These help make meaning of experiences and get to the root cause of issues. They inspire change by increasing insight and integration of parts of yourself you may avoid or be unaware of. Click on the therapy type below to read more.

I view people as a whole, recognizing the connection of mind, body, emotions and soul. I do not assign diagnoses or label people. All are welcome - regardless of background, beliefs, identity, appearance, etc. I nurture a relationship of trust with your inner wisdom by honoring your choices and values, instead of telling you what to do.

About me

I work as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

I received a Masters in Mental Health Counseling at Texas State University in 2021.

I completed training in Spinal Flow Technique in 2026 with Dr. Carli Axford, which is a gentle modality that helps the body release stored emotions, without the need to talk. I will be offering this modality soon through a separate business.

Outside of work, you can probably find me in the water. I love nature, music, movement practices and art. I created all the nature photos on my website.

I like the idea of the upward spiral. We circle around the same lessons over and over, learning deeper layers of the lessons as we go. Sometimes we might feel we aren't making "progress," but if we take a step back and look at the bigger picture, we are spiraling upwards.
